2-Propanol is intended for cleaning (degreasing) of fiber optics.
2-Propanol is a high-purity isopropyl alcohol (also called isopropanol or 2-propanol) with a base substance mass fraction of at least 99.8%. 2-Propanol is flammable, moderately toxic, and must be treated with caution.
According to GOST 12.1.007, isopropyl alcohol belongs to the III substance hazard category.
Isopropyl alcohol is toxic and may be harmful if inhaled in high vapor concentrations.
It creates an explosive mixture when mixed with air as vapor.
2-Propanol vapor concentrations must not exceed 10 mg/m3 in a room containing people.
In emergencies, a gas mask should be used as a personal protective equipment.
Hazard statement:
Flammable liquid. Vapors/air mixtures are explosive. Causes eye irritation. May cause drowsiness and dizziness.
Precautions for safe handling:
• keep in an airtight container;
• keep away from sources of ignition, sparks, open fire;
• do not smoke nearby;
• wear gloves and safety glasses.

• keep away from static electricity;
• use only non-sparking tools;
• avoid inhaling vapors;
