The FOT-602X-23BL-VFL optical loss test set combines (OLTS) a light source similar to the FLS-600 and the FPM-600 power meter. The light source operates at two single-mode wavelengths: 1310\1550 nm. The power meter is calibrated to 40 wavelengths. It is a universal device for measuring almost any signal level.
The OLTS is a perfect solution for evaluation the signal level in fiber optic lines. With two testers, the operator can measure line loss on all available wavelengths and in both directions easily and precisely. It is possible to set the measurement thresholds manually, the threshold violation will be signalized by a red indicator. The tester can be paired with another device of the EXFO 600 or 300 series, the FOT-930 MaxTester or the EXFO FTB-3930 Multitest module. The OLTS automatically recognizes the applied wavelength and switches to the appropriate calibration parameters.
All the data can be easily managed and transferred to a PC via the USB port thanks to the large storage space for up to 1000 test records and the appropriate software.
