The Jonard CSR-1575 Clamping Cable Sheath Stripper (1.2-7.5mm OD) is equipped with adjustable blades and a removable V-shaped block for better cuts. The stripper kit includes JIC-CSR-2 blade.
The cutting depth can be easily changed with the knob when cutting the cable crosswise around the circumference. Turning the knob toward the "+" sign increases the cutting depth, while turning the knob toward the "-" sign reduces it accordingly. After the cutting depth is set, the installer should open the stripper, ins ert the cable, close the stripper and turn it around the cable 3 times, then the stripper is opened, and the cable is removed.
Appropriate V-openings are used for slitting the cable. It is recommended to use the small V-opening for cables with 3 mm OD or less, and the deeper opening for the cables with bigger than 3 mm OD. The cable or buffer tube cutting depth can be changed by unscrewing the screw that holds the blade with a screwdriver. The screw must be tightened after the desired cutting depth is se t.
