The DPD fiber optic cable is intended for indoor and outdoor applications for installation in the soil including swamps and shallow non-navigable rivers, cable ducts, pipes, trays, cable blocks, tunnels, collectors, on bridges and hanging cable trays, for suspension on poles of communication lines, railroad contact and auto-blocking lines, power transmission lines, lighting poles, power utility lines, between buildings and other structures and if there are high requirements for resistance to external electromagnetic impact.
The cable consists of a number of buffer tubes stranded over a fiberglass (FRP) rod covered with an inner polyethylene sheath and protected by the armor made of FRP rods and the outer cable jacket made of medium density polyethylene (MDPE). The free space inside the buffer tubes, the cable core and in the armor layer is filled with a hydrophobic gel.
The DPD cables are completely dielectric and resistant to electromagnetic fields.
Ng(A)-HF means that the cable sheath is made of a polymeric material that does not spread combustion in case of group installation, with low smoke emission, halogen-free (Class PRGO1, GOST 53315-2009).
