The OKU fiber optic cables are intended for indoor and outdoor applications for installation in cable trays and ducts, pipes, blocks, tunnels, on building facades, for suspension on poles of overhead communication lines, power transmission lines, lighting poles, between buildings and other structures.

The cable consists of a number of buffer tubes stranded over a fiberglass (FRP) rod and protected by a jacket made of medium density polyethylene (MDPE).

The cables contain Corning SMF-28Ultra single-mode fiber that meets G.652.D and G.657.A1 standards.

The OKU cables are completely dielectric and resistant to electromagnetic fields.

Water swellable yarns are used in cable construction to keep the cable dry (without use of water blocking gel) for ease of its installation.

Ng(A)-LS means that the cable sheath is made of a polymeric material that does not spread combustion in case of group installation, with low smoke emission (Class P1b.8.2.2.1, GOST 31565-2012).
