The K48-4525 fiber splice tray is the basic tray for the MOG-S and MOG-U fiber optic closures. Also, it is used in high-capacity MTOK-V4 and MTOK-G4 closures. The K48-4525 tray is intended for the splicing of up to 48 fibers and an excess fiber length. There are four removable L-12 splice inserts to accommodate KDZS-4542 sleeves on the tray. The arrangement of splice inserts at an angle made it possible to significantly reduce the width of the splice tray.
The fiber splice tray design enables the insertion of buffer tubes from any of the four corners and changing the fiber excess guiding orientation. Loose guiding of fibers in the splice tray allows fiber to be re-spliced three times without reducing the number of turns of the fiber reserve.
The tweezers for convenient and safe removal of KDZS sleeves from the splice inserts are included in all kits of fiber splice trays produced by "Svyazstroydetal" CJSC.
