The KD-4845 fiber splice tray is the basic tray for the MTOK-A1, B1, V2, V3, G3, D3 closures. This tray is also used in optical distribution frames. The KD-4845 tray is intended for the accommodation of up to 48 fiber joints and an excess of bare fibers. The splice inserts for KDZS-4525 fusion splice sleeves are integrated into the fiber splice tray body. It made possible to reduce its size and install more fiber splice trays in the standard closure body, thus increasing the closure capacity.
The fiber splice tray design enables the insertion of buffer tubes from any of the four corners and changing the fiber excess guiding direction. Loose guiding of fibers in the splice tray allows fiber to be re-spliced three times without reducing the number of turns of the fiber reserve.
The KD-4845 fiber splice trays installed in the closures are supplied with swivel brackets that enable to flip trays and ensure uniform and safe bending of the buffer tubes. The cable buffer tubes are routed directly into the splice trays without switching to transition tubes.
The tweezers for convenient and safe removal of KDZS sleeves from the splice inserts are included in all splice tray kits , closures and distribution boxes produced by "Svyazstroydetal" CJSC.
