The KV-2445 tray is intended for the storage of up to 24 fiber splices and an excess fiber length. In this kit, the fiber splice tray is fastened with screws to the underside of the MTOK-K6 or MTOK-L6 closure mount bracket when the transit cable buffer tube loop is not used.
The KV-2445 tray can be used for butt closures, so the buffer tubes are fed into the splice tray only from one of its end face. The splice inserts for fusion splice sleeves are integrated into the tray body. The splice tray design provides loose guiding of fiber excess in the central section of the tray. The loose guiding allows fiber to be re-spliced repeatedly to achieve the required splicing parameters.
The tweezers for convenient and safe removal of KDZS sleeves from the splice inserts are included in all splice tray kits, closures and distribution boxes produced by "Svyazstroydetal" CJSC.
