The ShKON-MMA/2 distribution box is used for branching the fibers serving the floor from the indoor riser cable (cable with a core of freely removable fibers or modules), splicing the riser cable fibers with pigtails, securing the riser cable, protecting the branch splice point and fiber joints and connecting subscriber pigtails.
It has a dustproof metal case, and removable lid. There is a plastic insert with a removable swiveling fiber splice tray inside the case. The space for fiber excess and splice inserts storage is on the inner side of the splice tray. The panel with slots for optical adapters is on the outer side of the tray. It has a removable folding organizer shelf for easy installation and operation. The ShKON-MMA/2 8SC case can be fitted with up to 8 SC ports.
The box is supplied with a security screw to restrict access.
It has compact size and can be installed directly in floor risers. It is recommended to use the ShKON-MMA/MPA anti-vandal protective cover when mounting on walls.
