The ShKON-P series distribution box is used in FTTH networks inside apartment buildings for jointing the riser cable fibers with up to 8 subscriber’s patch cords.
The box basement is made of ABS plastic and completely covered by a metal cover with two locks. Such design of the box ensures better anti-vandal protection and prevents unauthorized access. A removable swiveling plate is mounted inside the box basement. The space for fiber excess storage and splice inserts for KDZS sleeves placement is located on the inner side of the plate. On the outer side of the organizer plate, there is a patch panel with optical SC adapters. The removable folding organizer plate provides an easy installation and future maintenance.
The box is installed on the floor and is used to connect subscribers of one or several adjacent floors to the FTTh network using patch cords placed in ducts or corrugated pipes.
