The K-type ODF folding modules are intended for installation in the ShKON-KPV, VOKS-UB distribution cabinets to provide fibers termination and distribution. The cross module contains a splice tray for fiber splices insertion and a patch panel for adapters. Folding cross modules are combined into a cable block. In the assembled configuration, the modules are installed in the cable block vertically, while the adapter plates form a patch field. Turning the module to a horizontal position provides easy access to the fiber splicing compartment.
The ShKON-KPV, VOKS-UB distribution cabinets ensure anti-vandal, water and dust protection and are used for construction of "fiber-to-home" FTTH/PON subscriber access networks. Due to the waterproof design, they can be installed both indoor in the staircase, basement, technical floor or attic (ShKON-KPV) and outdoor on pole supports or walls (VOKS-UB).
