The MODF swiveling modules are intended for installation in VOKS-FP main optical distribution cabinets to provide fiber termination and distribution. The module is a tray which is separated for fiber storage, splicing and termination (switching) areas. The assembled modules are located inside the cabinet and an access to all three areas is not possible. When the ODF is under maintenance, the module can be rotated to provide easy access to the fiber installation zone and adapters.
For convenient installation, the module can be detached and removed from the ODF and placed on the workbench due to the excess of optical fibers in the transport tubes
The module installation into the previous generation VOKS-FP cabinet requires the use of KB4-P/KB6-P cable blocks for 4 or 6 swiveling modules, respectively.
Since 2016, an upgraded version of the cabinet can be ordered that no longer uses cable blocks. The Swiveling modules are installed directly in the improved cabinet frame.
However, the VOKS-FP modules are universal and can be installed in cable block of old generation cabinets, and in redesigned cabinets without cable block.
Only premium quality connectors passed 100% additional control are used in VOKS-FP modules.
Additional requirements for connectors or use of components from specific suppliers, etc. can be agreed upon request.
The CCD VOKS-FP modules are not interchangeable with the modules used in the SHKON-FPV, VOKS-UFP, VOKS-FP-ST optical distribution frames, as their configurations differ.
The CCD VOKS-FP cabinet is a high density ODF is reasonable when it is necessary to provide an installation and termination of a large number of fibers. Cabinets of this series have become widely used since the beginning of the "fiber-to-home" FTTH/PON subscriber access networks construction in major cities.
