The MKO-G3/S09 terminal closure is designed as a low-capacity distribution terminal for jointing indoor and outdoor aerial cables and used for the 1st stage PLC splitters accommodation in FTTH/PON networks.
It is based on the standard G3 dome closure body and ensures water and dust protection (incoming and outgoing fiber optic cables are located on one side).
Closure body material is plastic. The sealing of fiber optic cables is achieved using heat shrink tubes (HST).
The closure design ensures:
• enter, seal and secure up to six dielectric cables with up to 16 mm outer sheath diameters;
• enter one uncut fiber buffer tube loop of fiber optic cable;
• installation of up to 48 optical fiber joints (KDZS 4525 fusion splice sleeves);
• installation of one 1х16 mini PLC splitter with 0.9 mm leads (or two 1x8 splitters);
• installation of up to 18 SC-type adapters.
The closure is mounted on a wall or pole using the appropriate MTOK-G3 Pole/Wall Mount Bracket. The bracket is not included in the kit, but available for purchase upon request.
