MKO-P1/А terminal closure is designed for jointing an overhead trunk cable with subscriber drop cables of small diameter. The main feature of MKO closures marked "A" is a patch panel for SC type adapters inside. This allows the installer to use preterminated subscriber drop cables and provides multiple reconnections.

The closure is a small-sized sealed rectangular container. A removable organizer plate is installed inside the container. On the back side there are 2 splice inserts for placing fiber splices protected by KDZS 4525 sleeves. On the front side of the organizer plate there is a patch panel for SC adapters installation . Also, on the front side of the organizer plate there is a splitter insert L2-SP type is located. It can accommodate one PO-1х8 -PLC -SM/0.9 -1.0 m-SC/APC splitter in mini-case or two PO-1x4 -PLC -SM/0.9 -1.0 m-SC/APC splitters, terminated with SC connectors.

The cover is opened and locked in the open position with the plastic hinge molded into the closure body. The cover and body are sealed and tightened together in the closed position by three captive screws and nuts pressed into the body.

Elastic gel is around the closure body, in the places of contact with the cover. Elastic gel is used to seal the case, the inserted trunk and subscriber cables.

Despite its small dimensions, the design of the closure ensures to route the transit loop of the cable buffer tubes without cutting.

In case of necessary for pole/wall installation, it is proposed to use an appropriate Closure Mount Bracket. The Bracket design allows easy remove closure from the pole and hang it back without special tools and consumables such as mounting tape.

Please note that the operating temperature range mentioned for terminal closures in the Technical specifications list is indicated without taking into account the characteristics of the installed components: adapters, pigtails, and splitters. The operating temperature range may be limited by the parameters of the products installed inside.
