The closure is designed as a low-capacity distribution terminal for jointing outdoor and indoor cables. It is also can be used in FTTH / PON networks for the 2nd stage PLC splitters accommodation.
Terminal closure is made of plastic and provides water and dust resistance Incoming and outgoing cable ports are located on one side.
The closure is a small rectangular container equipped with a hinged cover. The cover and body are sealed with a gasket and tightened together with the plastic hinge. The closure and the cover are tightened together with the captive screws and nuts pressed into the body.
The design of the closure ensures:
• insert, anchor and seal 2 dielectric cables with an outer diameter of up to 9 mm;
• insert, anchor and seal 8 dielectric drop cables with an outer diameter of up to 3.5 mm;
• transit cable input option;
• placement of up to 36 fusion fiber splices (KDZS 4525);
• installation of 2 PLC splitters with a nominal case size of 60х7х4 mm;
• accommodation of up to 10 SC fiber adapters.
The design of terminal closure allows to install it on a wall or a pole using the appropriate Closure Mount Bracket.
Brackets are not included in the closure kit and must be purchased separately.
