The terminal closure kit is designed for jointing indoor and outdoor aerial cables and used for the 2nd stage PLC splitters accommodation in FTTH/PON networks.
The closure is made of plastic and ensures dust and splash protection. Incoming trunk cables and outgoing drop-cables are located on one side. The closure dome and head are sealed by a rubber O-ring gasket and fastened with the plastic clamp with a lever lock.
The incoming and outgoing fiber optic and drop-cables are sealed in the closure with elastic grommets over the outer sheath.
The closure design ensures:
• enter, seal and secure two dielectric cables with up to 16 mm outer sheath diameters;
• enter, seal and secure eight 2-4 mm OD subscriber cables;
• installation of up to 12 optical fiber joints (KDZS 4525 fusion splice sleeves);
• installation of two PLC splitters;
• installation of up to 10 SC-type adapters.
The closure is mounted on a wall or pole using the appropriate bracket.
The splitters and the bracket are not included in the kit, but available for purchase upon request.
