The MPO-Sh2/192 Closure Kit is used for jointing overhead ADSS fiber optic cables, flat cables, and «eight» type cables with the external strength member
The closure is a small rectangular container with a hinged lid. Closure lid and body are sealed together using a gasket and tightened with four plastic latches on steel spring loaded hinges.
A removable organizer plate is mounted inside the closure housing. The space for laying a through-feed cable buffer tubes is on the back side of the organizer. On the front side of the organizer the cable holders and KD-4845 fiber splice tray for splicing distribution cables are located. Up to 4 KD-4845 or KT-3645 splice trays can be installed.
The closure design ensures the following:
• enter, seal and secure up to three cables with outer sheath diameters up to 16 mm in the housing;
• option of through feeding of one fiber optic cable;
• installation of up to 192 optical fiber joints (KDZS 4525 fusion splice sleeves).
The closure is mounted on a wall or pole using a MPO-Sh2 Closure Mount Bracket.
The MPO-Sh2 Closure Mount Bracket is not included in the kit, but available for purchase upon request.
