The МТОК-R6 Closure Kit is used for jointing overhead ADSS cable , «eight» type fiber optic cables with the external strength member, and urban cables of any design. The closure has an oval port for through-feed cable without cut. The buffer tube loop is laid in the winding cartridge on the opposite side of the splice trays stack.
The closure body and head are sealed mechanically. A flexible annular gasket and reinforced plastic clamp equipped with a self-tightening lock are used for sealing. When the clamp lock is opened, the latch transforms into a lever for easy removal of the clamp from the closure.
The cable is entered, secured and sealed with threaded fittings molded directly on the closure head. The closure is equipped with three round cable ports with fittings and one oval cable port. The cables inserted into the oval port are sealed mechanically as well. Two separate cables or one through-feed cable can be inserted into the oval port with appropriate cable entry kit. The oval port dummy plug can be popped out with a hammer.
The closure is mounted on a pole or wall by using the appropriate closure mount bracket which can be purchased separately. Due to the bracket design, the closure can be easy removed from the pole and hanged back. This operation requires no reattachment or use of any special tools, such as mounting band.
