The closure is intended for rehabilitation of polyethylene sheath of duct telecommunication cable including cable with 10×2 (ten pairs) filled with hydrophob sealant and a wire diameter 0.32; 0.4 or 0.5 mm.
The closure is just a polyethylene body consisting of two parts. It is required to order separately all additional materials for all kind of works starting from wire splicing to closure sealing.
The MP-type closures manufactured under AKhPO.446.000 TU specifications comply with the valid Regulations for Use of Closures for Installation of Communication Cables and have declarations of conformity (see the list of valid declarations).
Features:
– wires can be spliced by manual twisting with polyethylene sleeves or with discrete (solid wire) connectors;
– due to its thin walls, the closures can only be sealed by the "cold" method, the sealing process instructions are provided;
– when the closures are installed in embedded areas within residential and public buildings, except for basements, it can be sealed only with wrapping by insulation tape.
