The closure is intended for the rehabilitation of PE sheath on duct telecommunication (TP) cable splices. It is a polyethylene body consisting of three parts: two identical half closures and support sleeve.
It is required to order separately all additional materials for all kind of installation operations, such as wire splicing, screen restoration, wrapping insulation and sheath rehabilitation.
It is recommended to splice the TP cable conductors of 0.4-0.7mm diameter in the closure with 10-, 25-pair splicing modules.
It can be used to splice with 10-pair splicing modulesfollowing cables: TPPep 500×2×0.4; TPPep 600×2×0.4; TPPep 500×2×0.5; TPPep 600×2×0.5.
With 25-pair splicing modules: TPPep 500×2×0.4; TPPep 600×2×0.4; TPPep 500×2×0.5; TPPep 600×2×0.5.
The closure sealing can be performed both by the "cold" or "hot" methods. HST tubes and heat shrink repair sleeves can be used for "hot" sealing.
