The closure is intended for installation on MKPVBEpBbSHp 2×4×1.05 + 9×2×0.7/ OKZ 2×4 - 0.36/0.22 cables as cutin branch closure.
These are combined cables with fibers and copper conductors used for technological communication and for signaling devices on the railroad.
The MRV-EpB closure kit includes components to provide sealing of the branching joint on the main cable where the copper wire branching cable is cut into it.
The kit provides:
- splicing copper wires of main cable with wires of one branch cable;
- insolation of spliced wires;
- restoration of main cable shield over the branching joint;
- arrangement of framework over the splice to ensure HST tube shrinking;
- sealing of the closure with an HST tube and branching clip;
- mechanical protection of the installed closure in the pit.
Consumables listed in the installation manual should be purchased separately.
