It is installed as a junction closure on MKSStShP 4×4×1.2 cable.
The junction closure has significantly bigger wire splicing size (by length and diameter) in comparison to direct closures.
The junction closure accommodates a jointing splice of two sections of a high-frequency cable where the concentrated balancing takes place. The wires are joined together by crossover operators along with the activation of counter-coupling circuits. The counter-coupling circuits are switched on after all the wires are spliced. The circuits are connected through additional wires soldered to the twisted wires.
The lead cones significantly increase the inner volume of the closure.
During the splicing of MKSStShP cables, the cones are soldered to the pre-tinned corrugated steel sheaths on both cable ends.
The steel sheaths are tin-plated by PMKN-40 soldering paste.
Note: The closure comprises just three lead parts: a tubular sleeve and two cones. It is required to order separately all additional materials for all kind of works starting from wire splicing to sheath restoring and insulating covers of cables.
