The CCD HS pigtail is used on the most important fiber optic lines, in data centers, high-speed premises systems to deliver high quality of communication and reliable connection of telecommunication equipment.
The high quality of the CCD HS pigtails is ensured by combining premium quality ferrules with 100% output quality control. All HS ShOS patch cords are produced at the CCD production site in Moscow. The typical quality of the ferrule end polishing is shown in the photo taken from the interferometer display.
In terms of design, the HS CCD pigtail is a section of fiber in buffer coating terminated with connector on one end. The pigtails are coiled onto a special cardboard holder for easy reel-out before installation. This type of packaging ensures safe transportation of the item and protects it from accidental damage.
The G.657.A1 fiber in 0.9 µm OD buffer is used for the production of HS CCD patch cords. This type of fiber ensures the minimum permitted cable bending radius.
