In terms of design, the HS CCD patch cord is a one core cable that contains single-mode fiber of an appropriate length. The patch cord is terminated with connectors on both sides.
The high quality 2.0 mm OD cable with G.657.A1 fiber ensuring the minimum permitted cable bending radius is used for production of HS CCD patch cords.
The cable sheath is very flexible to minimize possible folding during installation. The sheath is flame-retardant when laid in a group and does not emit any harmful substances.
It contains reinforced aramid yarns under the sheath to increase its mechanical strength properties. That is why the cable endures tension strength of up to 70N.
