The Sumitomo T-400S Fusion Splicer is intended to maintain the high quality of optical line installation even when the qualification level of the fiber optic installer is insufficient. The device employs Super-Wide technology that enables fiber optics alignment in wider range of distances. With Super-Wide technology, an installer's mistakes in preparing and placing fibers in the fusion splicer carriage can be eliminated. With this device, a chance that work would have to be redone is extremely low, therefore it saves time so valuable under the conditions of large amounts of work on FTTH network.
